Did you know that wiki is the Hawaiian word for quick? (per Steve Cowdrey, Apple trainer extraordinaire, who knows all.)
Since wikis are a great way to work collaboratively, figured this is the obvious way to get us communicating. If you're not sure or comfortable with wikis, go watch this:

Please use these pages (you're all listed as editors, so you can add/delete to your hearts' content) to post your comments, docs, etc.. I'll get us a Google Docs gizmo too; if you haven't discovered the delights of Google Docs, you're missing out on some great stuff. I am particularly partial to their new browser Chrome for PCs.
Dr Moini has asked for help creating a wiki, which reminds me that we can serve the OCU community by providing easy-to-follow help sheets either on this space, or through Jessica at CT. Let's talk about that at the 10/15 meeting, and put together some ideas for projects. For example, those who use clickers could do a short intro to clickers, and then a cheat sheet for newbies to help them work their way through setting it/them up. Same for podcasters, music makers, PowerPoint/Keynote mavens, etc.. If we split the work we can get them out quickly and do a great service to those who need help and support.
WIRELESS PRESENTERS
[Above] is the link for a wireless presenter that has been recommended to me by a colleague--it's even on sale. I've held it and played around with it and find it much better than the Targus brand presenters that I've used in the past--you'll see the Targus brand presenters at the bottom of the screen. Thanks for the tip about pointers. I think I'll let this cheaper one break before I advance in purchase price.

For the next TTFLC meeting, Ernesto will be at a training in Dallas on Dec. 3 but Daniel can come and answer questions about the podcasting studio. I’ve asked him to be there from 3-3:30 pm. Think we are all set!

February 18 meeting in the Mac Lab of the Music School - all PC types please bring your laptops! Also please contact Ernesto Chavez (echavez@okcu.edu) about podcasting with your particular PC. He needs to know, prior to our meeting, what you have to work with!!!
